Generating Thumbnails

Generating thumbnails will help you visualise your MetaFiles in your MetaLibrary and make it easy to see what you go at a glance.

Left click the row number in the Table View. Then right click "Generate Thumbnails". The process will start in the background and you'll be notified when it's finished, as well as be able to monitor progress on each thumbnail.

You will see a percentage on the Thumbnail cell, when the generation is done it will update and you can immediately start scrubbing through the footage.

Unreachable MetaCopies & Errors

You must have reachable MetaCopies attached to your instance. Check your MetaFiles if you are getting an error and check that all MetaFiles have active MetaCopies. Inactive MetaCopies are not reachable.

An unreachable MetaCopy is marked with the red circle, next to path.
